Abstract: In the title complex, (C₆H₈N)₂[Zn(dmit)₂] (dmit is 2-thioxo-1,3-dithiole-4,5-dithiolate, C₃S₅), each Zn atom is coordinated by four dmit S atoms that define a distorted tetrahedral arrangement. The crystal structure is stabilized by C-HS hydrogen bonding and SS contacts.
