Dichlorodiphenylbis(pyridine-N)tin(IV)

Abstract: In the mononuclear title complex, [Sn(C₆H₅)₂Cl₂(C₅H₅N)₂], the central Sn^IV atom is octahedrally coordinated by two Cl atoms, two pyridine N atoms, and two benzene C atoms. The dihedral angle between the pyridine ring and the SnN₂Cl₂ plane is 19.2 (9)°.
