9-(2-Pyridylmethyl)carbazole

Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₈H₁₄N₂, the carbazole and pyridine ring systems are each essentially planar. The asymmetric unit contains three independent molecules. The molecular structure is stabilized by an intermolecular C-HN hydrogen bond.
