Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₇H₁₇N₃OS₂, the fused thiophene and pyrimidine rings are almost coplanar. The amino group is involved in both intramolecular and intermolecular hydrogen bonds, the latter linking the molecules into a centrosymmetric dimer.
