Abstract: The U atom in the crystal structure of the title compound, [U(NO₃)₂O₂(C₂₁H₁₉O₂P)], shows hexagonal-bipyramidal coordination, as the nitrate and carboxylate groups function as chelates. The oxo O atoms occupy the axial sites of this uncommon coordination geometry.
