[Bis(diphenylphosphino)methane-²P,P'][bis(diphenylthiophosphinyl)methane-²S,S']platinum(II) bis(perchlorate) acetone solvate

Abstract: The title complex, [Pt(C₂₅H₂₂P₂)(C₂₅H₂₂P₂S₂)](ClO₄)₂·C₃H₆O or [Pt(dppm)(dppmS₂)](ClO₄)₂·C₃H₆O, where dppmS₂ is bis(diphenylthiophosphinyl)methane and dppm is bis(diphenylphosphino)methane, is the first example of a platinum(II) complex containing both dppm and dppmS₂ ligands. In the cation, the dppm ligand forms a non-planar four-membered chelate ring, while the dppmS₂ ligand forms a six-membered chelate ring with twist-boat conformation.
