Benzimidazolium 4-carboxyphenoxyacetate

Abstract: The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C₇H₇N₂⁺·C₉H₇O₅^-, consists of one benzimidazolium cation and one 4-carboxyphenoxyacetate anion. A two-dimensional supramolecular hydrogen-bonded network structure is formed via intermolecular hydrogen bonds in the bc plane.
