1-Chloromercurio-2-{(2-chlorophenyl)[(3-chlorophenyl)imino]methyl}ferrocene

Abstract: The title compound, [FeHg(C₅H₅)(C₁₈H₁₁Cl₂N)Cl], was prepared by the reaction of [(2-chlorophenyl)(3-chlorophenylimino)methyl]ferrocene, mercury acetate and lithium chloride. The NHg separation of 2.884 (5) Å suggests a weak coordination interaction.
