2N,O2:2O5;1O5:22N,O2-bis[aqua(2,2'-bipyridine-2N,N')cadmium(II)] dihydrateAbstract: In the crystal structure of the title cadmium(II) complex, [Cd2(C7H3NO4)2(C10H8N2)2(H2O)2]·2H2O, the pyridine-2,5-dicarboxylate (pydc) dianions bridge the CdII ions to form a centrosymmetric dimeric complex. Each CdII ion has a distorted octahedral coordination geometry.
