Abstract: In red crystal of the title compound, [Mn(NCS)₂(C₆H₈N₂O₂)₂(H₂O)₂]·2H₂O, the Mn^II atom lies on an inversion centre and assumes a distorted octahedral coordination geometry. Hydrogen bonds consolidate the crystal structure.
