Abstract: Molecules of the title compound, C₁₄H₉NOS, exhibit a chiral non-planar structure in which the 4-cyanophenyl and S-phenyl rings are tilted at dihedral angles of 1.81 (2) and 72.49 (1)° with respect to the central thiocarbonate unit.
