Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₇H₁₆N₂O₃S, the pyran ring adopts a flattened envelope conformation. N-HO hydrogen bonds generate a centrosymmetric R₂²(12) dimer. The dimers translated by a unit cell along the c axis are linked via C-HS hydrogen bonds to form a C(6) chain.
