N-(4-Hydroxyphenyl)acrylamide

Abstract: In the title compound, C₉H₉NO₂, the mean planes of the acrylamide moiety and the benzene ring make a dihedral angle of 11.6 (2)°. In the crystal structure, intermolecular O-HO and N-HO hydrogen bonds link the molecules into two-dimensional corrugated sheets parallel to the ac plane.
