Abstract: The title compound, C₁₄H₁₁FN₂O₂, crystallizes with two molecules in the asymmetric unit. Both molecules are roughly planar and adopts a trans configuration with respect to the C=N double bond. In the crystal structure, intermolecular O-HO and N-HO hydrogen bonds result in the formation of sheets parallel to the ac plane.
