4-Fluorobenzaldehyde salicylhydrazone

Y. Zhang, S.-P. Zhang, Y.-Y. Wu and S.-C. Shao

Abstract: The title compound, C14H11FN2O2, crystallizes with two molecules in the asymmetric unit. Both molecules are roughly planar and adopts a trans configuration with respect to the C=N double bond. In the crystal structure, intermolecular O-H...O and N-H...O hydrogen bonds result in the formation of sheets parallel to the ac plane.
