trans-Diaquabis(pyridazine-3-carboxylato-²N,O)magnesium(II) dihydrate

Abstract: The title compound, [Mg(C₅H₃N₂O₂)₂(H₂O)₂]·2H₂O, contains centrosymmetric neutral complex molecules. The pyridazine-3-carboxylate ligands bond in an N,O-bidentate mode and the octahedral Mg coordination is completed by two trans water molecules. There are also two non-coordinated water molecules. O-HO and O-HN hydrogen bonds are present, resulting in a three-dimensional network.
