Piperazinium(2+) hexaaquairon(II) bis(sulfate)

Abstract: In the crystal structure of the title compound, (C₄H₁₂N₂)[Fe(H₂O)₆](SO₄)₂, hydrogen bonds link the piperazinium cation, the hexaaquairon(II) cation and the sulfate anions into a three-dimensional network. The [Fe(H₂O)₆]²⁺ and piperazinium cations each lie on a centre of symmetry.
