Abstract: In the crystal structure of the title compound, (C4H12N2)[Fe(H2O)6](SO4)2, hydrogen bonds link the piperazinium cation, the hexaaquairon(II) cation and the sulfate anions into a three-dimensional network. The [Fe(H2O)6]2+ and piperazinium cations each lie on a centre of symmetry.
