Abstract: The title compound, [Fe(C₅H₅)(C₁₅H₁₈N)], has been synthesized as a precursor of ferrocenylaminophosphine and its crystal structure determined. The substituted cyclopentadienyl plane is nearly perpendicular to the plane of the benzene ring [dihedral angle = 84.9 (2)°].
