Abstract: The title compound, C15H13ClN2O, was synthesized by the reaction of ethyl 3-(4-chlorophenyl)acrylate and phenylhydrazine. Intermolecular N-H
O and intramolecular C-HN hydrogen bonds are effective in the crystal structure. The intermolecular N-HO hydrogen bonds link the molecules into dimers.
