Abstract: In the structure of the title compound, (18-bromo-2,3,5,6,8,9,11,12,14,15-decahydro-1,4,7,10,13,16-benzohexaoxacyclooctadecine)potassium chlorotrioxochromate, [K(C₁₆H₂₃BrO₆)][CrClO₃], the K atom is coordinated equatorially by six macrocycle O atoms and axially by two O atoms of two anions. In the crystal structure, polymeric chains are formed in the [001] direction.
