Aquachlorotriphenyltin(IV) pyridine disolvate

Abstract: In the structure of the title mononuclear Sn complex, [Sn(C₆H₅)₃Cl(H₂O)]·2C₅H₅N, the Sn^IV atom is coordinated in a slightly distorted trigonal-bipyramidal geometry by three phenyl C atoms, one water molecule and one Cl^- anion. Two pyridine molecules are O-HN hydrogen bonded to the coordinated water molecule.
