Abstract: The title compound, C₂₃H₂₆BrNO₂, was synthesized by the reaction of 4-bromobenzaldehyde with dimedone and ammonium acetate under microwave irradiation. In the molecule, the dihydropyridine ring adopts a slight boat conformation.
