Bis(2-amino-5-nitrobenzoato-²O,O')di-n-butyltin(IV)

Abstract: The title compound, [Sn(C₄H₉)₂(C₇H₅N₂O₄)₂], has twofold rotation symmetry, and two 2-amino-5-nitrobenzoate ligands are chelated to the dibutyltin unit through both O atoms of the carboxylate group in a six-coordinate environment. There are intra- and intermolecular N-HO hydrogen bonds, forming one-dimensional chains parallel to the b axis.
