trans-Dichlorobis[N-(3,5-difluorophenyl)isopropylideneamine]palladium(II)

Abstract: The title compound, [PdCl₂(C₉H₉F₂N)₂], was obtained from the condensation reaction of acetone with trans-dichlorobis(3,5-difluoroaniline)palladium(II) under crystallization conditions. The Pd atom lies on an inversion centre and shows a square-planar geometry. The molecules are linked via non-classical C-HCl and C-HF interactions.
