Abstract: In the crystal structure of the title compound, C₇H₁₀NO₂S⁺·Cl^-·H₂O, a weak N-HO intramolecular hydrogen bond is observed without the formation of a conjugated -electron system. The three-dimensional network is sustained via extensive hydrogen bonding involving the ions and the water molecule.
