(E)-2-Acetyl-4-[(3-chlorophenyl)diazenyl]phenol

Abstract: The molecule of the title compound, C₁₃H₁₀ClN₂O₂, is essentially planar and displays a trans configuration with respect to the central N=N double bond. The dihedral angle between the two aromatic rings is 0.73 (16)°. There is a strong intramolecular O-HO hydrogen-bonding interaction which stabilizes the molecular structure.
