1-(4-Aminophenyl)ethanone isonicotinoylhydrazone

Abstract: The title molecule, C₁₄H₁₄N₄O, adopts a trans configuration with respect to the C=N double bond. The dihedral angle between the two rings is 73.1 (4)°. The crystal structure is stabilized by intermolecular N-HN and N-HO hydrogen bonds which link the molecules into a chain along the c axis.
