L-Histidinium trifluoroacetate

Abstract: The title compound, C₆H₁₀N₃O₂⁺·C₂F₃O₂^-, crystallizes with two histidine cations and two trifluoroacetate anions in the asymmetric unit. The protonated cations and deprotonated anions are linked by a number of intermolecular N-HO hydrogen bonds to form a three-dimensional network.
