5,7-Bis(benzyloxy)-4H-benzopyran-4-one

Abstract: The title compound, C₂₃H₁₈O₄, contains two molecules in the asymmetric unit which differ from each other in the dihedral angles between the benzyl and chromone groups. There are intramolecular and intermolecular C-HO interactions as well as - stacking interactions in the crystal structure.
