2-Amino-3-(4-hydroxybenzylideneamino)butenedinitrile monohydrate

Abstract: In the crystal structure of the title compound, C₁₁H₈N₄O·H₂O, the molecules are held together by O-HO, O-HN and N-HN hydrogen bonds. The compound exhibits strong fluorescent emission in the solid state.
