2O,O')hexaisopropoxyhexa-3-oxo-hexatitaniumAbstract: The title compound, [Ti6(C2H3O2)6(C3H7O)6O6], was prepared by the stoichiometric reaction of acetic acid with titanium isopropoxide in supercritical CO2. There are two independent half-molecules in the asymmetric unit. The symmetry-complete hexaprismatic molecules are centrosymmetric.
