Abstract: In the title mononuclear nickel(II) compound, [Ni(C13H19N3O3)2(CH4O)2](NO3)2, the NiII atom is coordinated by two N and four O atoms, giving an octahedral geometry. The cationic complex lies on a centre of symmetry. In the crystal structure, the molecules are linked through intermolecular O-H
O, N-H
N and N-H
O hydrogen bonds, forming chains running along the b axis.
