Imidazolium 2,4-dihydroxybenzoate

Abstract: The title compound, C₃H₅N₂⁺·C₇H₅O₄^-, consists of imidazolium cations and 2,4-dihydroxybenzoate anions that link to each other via hydrogen bonding. Furthermore, - stacking is observed between parallel benzene rings and between benzene and imidazole rings.
