Abstract: In the title polymeric complex, {[Fe(C₁₇H₁₆N₂O₂)(N₃)]}_n, the Fe^III atom assumes a slightly distorted octahedral geometry, formed by one Schiff base and two azide ligands. The azide anion bridges the Fe^III atoms through terminal N atoms, forming zigzag polymeric chains.
