Tris(1,10-phenanthroline)manganese(II) bis(hexafluorophosphate)

Abstract: In the title complex, [Mn(C₁₂H₈N₂)₃](PF₆)₂, the Mn²⁺ ion is coordinated by three 1,10-phenanthroline molecules that define a distorted octahedral geometry. Each cation and anion lies on a twofold axis. In the crystal structure, there are intermolecular - interactions between adjacent phenanthroline ligands.
