Abstract: In the crystal structure of the title compound, C₇H₈N₂O₂, the molecules are linked through N-HO and N-HN hydrogen bonds, forming an extended supramolecule, which contributes to the stability of the structure in the solid state. There are two molecules in the asymmetric unit.
