Hexaimidazolium tetrachloromanganate(II) hexachloromanganate(II)

Abstract: The title compound, (C₃H₅N₂)₆[MnCl₄][MnCl₆], is composed of discrete imidazolium cations, and [MnCl₄]^2- and [MnCl₆]^4- anions. Both Mn atoms lie in positions of site symmetry . A three-dimensional network is formed via N-HCl hydrogen bonds.
