-Isophthalato-bis[triphenyltin(IV)]

Abstract: In the title compound, [Sn₂(C₆H₅)₆(C₈H₄O₄)], two triphenyltin groups are bridged by an isophthalate dianion through its two carboxylate groups. Each Sn atom displays a distorted tetrahedral geometry composed of three phenyl groups and one carboxylate O atom from the isophthalate anion.
