trans-Dichlorobis[(S)-(-)-1-(1-naphthyl)ethylamine]palladium(II)

Abstract: The title complex, [PdCl₂(C₁₂H₁₃N₂)₂], has two amine ligands coordinated in such a way that the naphthyl and methyl groups are located in the same hemisphere with respect to the [PdN₂Cl₂] coordination plane. This configuration allows for the formation of dimers in the solid state with a metal-metal separation of 3.2499 (4) Å.
