Aquadibenzoato(2,2'-bipyridine)cadmium(II) monohydrate

Abstract: The monomeric title complex, [Cd(C₇H₅O₂)₂(C₁₀H₈N₂)(H₂O)]·H₂O, contains a seven-coordinate Cd^II atom and the CdO₅N₂ polyhedron is irregular. Hydrogen bonds between water molecules and carboxylate groups give rise to a one-dimensional extended architecture.
