L-Histidinium tetrafluoroborate

Abstract: The title compound, C₆H₁₀N₃O₂⁺·BF₄^-, crystallizes with one histidinium cation and one tetrafluoroborate anion in the asymmetric unit. The protonated cation and the deprotonated anion are linked through a number of intermolecular N-HO and N-HF hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional network.
