Tris(ethylenediamine)nickel(II) tetraoxomolybdate(VI)

Abstract: The crystal structure of the title compound, [Ni(C₂H₈N₂)₃][MoO₄], is composed of tetrahedral [MoO₄]^2- anions and octahedral [Ni(en)₃]²⁺ cations (en is ethylenediamine), both ions lying on special positions of site symmetry 2. The components are held together in a three-dimensional network by hydrogen-bonding interactions.
