Redetermination of 5-fluorocytosine monohydrate

Abstract: The title compound, 4-amino-5-fluoro-2-hydroxypyrimidine monohydrate, C₄H₄FN₃O·H₂O, with two molecules of each comprising the asymmetric unit, has been redetermined, providing a significant increase in the precision of the geometric parameters.
