3-Methyl-1-(3-methylpyridinium-4-yl)pyridinium dichloride monohydrate

Abstract: The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C₁₂H₁₄N₂²⁺·2Cl^-·H₂O, comprises a pyridinium dication, two independent Cl^- anions and a water molecule. The three components are linked through hydrogen bonding and are packed to form a discrete halide salt structure.
