Abstract: The molecule of the title compound, C₁₃H₁₀Br₂N₂O, is nearly planar and displays a trans configuration with respect to the central C=N double bond. In the crystal structure, the molecules are linked through intermolecular C-HBr hydrogen bonds, forming chains running along the b axis.
