N-Ethylethanaminium 3,5,6-trichloropyridin-2-olate

Abstract: In the title salt, C₄H₁₂N⁺·C₅HCl₃NO^-, the non-H atoms of the cation are essentially coplanar. Intermolecular N-HO hydrogen bonds link two cations and two anions into a centrosymmetric cluster. The crystal packing is further stabilized by van der Waals forces.
