Abstract: The Ni atom in the title complex, [Ni(C₅H₇O₂)(C₄H₁₁NO)₂](C₂H₃O₂), has distorted octahedral coordination. The O atoms of the acetate ion are hydrogen bonded to the OH groups of the 2-(dimethylamino)ethanol ligands.
