Abstract: The title compound, [Sn(C₆H₅)₃(C₆H₄NO₃)], possesses an infinite chain structure. The SnO₂C₃ centre has distorted trigonal-bipyramidal geometry with the O atoms in the apical positions. A strong intermolecular N-HO hydrogen bond results in the formation of double chains.
