Abstract: The title compound, [Sn₄(C₄H₉)₈(C₇H₃N₂O₆)₄O₂], is a cluster built up by inversion symmetry around the central Sn₂O₂ ring. Both unique SnO₃C₂ centres have distorted trigonal-bipyramidal geometry with O atoms in the axial positions.
