4,6-Dibenzoylisophthalic acid acetone disolvate

Abstract: In the crystal structure of the title compound, C₂₂H₁₄O₆·2C₃H₆O, 4,6-dibenzoylisophthalic acid is linked with two acetone solvent molecules by strong intermolecular O-HO hydrogen bonds. Weak intermolecular C-HO hydrogen bonds may be effective in stabilizing the crystal structure.
