1-Benzoyl-3-(6-methylpyridin-2-yl)thiourea

Abstract: The molecular structure of the title compound, C₁₄H₁₃N₃OS, adopts a cis-trans configuration with respect to the positions of the benzoyl and 6-methylpyridin-2yl groups relative to the S atom across the thiourea C-N bonds. In the crystal structure, the molecules are linked by N-HS, C-HS and C-HO interactions, forming a one-dimensional chain parallel to the b axis.
