Abstract: The molecular structure of the title compound, C14H13N3OS, adopts a cis-trans configuration with respect to the positions of the benzoyl and 6-methylpyridin-2yl groups relative to the S atom across the thiourea C-N bonds. In the crystal structure, the molecules are linked by N-H...S, C-H...S and C-H...O interactions, forming a one-dimensional chain parallel to the b axis.
